What to Expect at Spencer Chiropractic
Your First Visit
Your first visit to Spencer Chiropractic establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. We obtain important background information, like medical history, and give you time to get to know your chiropractor.
During your first visit, please bring in the appropriate paperwork that can be found on our website or fill it out in the office. You should bring your driver’s license and a copy of your insurance card and supplemental policy if applicable as well. We will answer any questions you have about the paperwork before you meet with the doctor. Dr. Spencer will discuss any health complaints you have and move forward to the exam and x-rays if she feels it is necessary in your case.
It only takes about 45 min to an hour for the first visit.
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this Web site. We look forward to meeting you!
Second Visit
Dr. Spencer will review your x-rays and course of treatment she recommends during your second visit. Your treatment plan for your condition will be discussed with you in detail before you sign up for treatment. Treatment is encouraged to start during this visit if it fits within your schedule. The report of findings takes about 20 minutes, then an additional 15 to 30 minutes for treatment.
A Typical Office Visit
A typical office visit includes an adjustment and any therapy that may apply to your course of treatment. These visits are much shorter. When you visit the office, you will sign in on the purple sheet in the lobby and then have a seat while we pull your chart and prepare for your visit. Then we will bring you back to the room or start your therapy. We pride ourselves in calling patients back as quickly as possible. We understand your time is precious and valuable and we want to make your visits as smooth as possible.
